Whether you’re looking to get your 200 or 300 hour Registered Yoga Teacher Certification, need some continuing education hours or are a yoga student wishing to learn more about yoga, movement and anatomy, we’ve got you covered.

There is no prerequisite required to take any of our courses, only a willingness to learn.  Every module is appropriate for the serious student who would like to start teaching yoga, as well as the student who would like to deepen their own knowledge and personal practice.  Our training can also be beneficial to teachers of all movement modalities as well as those who've previously taken training where anatomy was just briefly covered.

Each module is individually priced and will be offered on a rolling/round robin basis with more topics and curriculum added all the time.  A training handbook will be included with each module.  Additional reading is also suggested for most modules, if the required reading is not listed with the corresponding topic below, it will be e-mailed to you one month prior to the start of training.

200hr RYT Certification

Our Anatomy Inspired Yoga Teacher Training program is the perfect program for aspiring yoga teachers as well as those looking to enhance their knowledge of yoga and anatomy.  In this training we'll lay the groundwork for a strong foundation in teaching as well as begin to plant the seeds for a deeper learning in anatomy.   Our training is offered in a module based format to make it the most accessible for those with families, work and/or other responsibilities to complete at their own pace.

To receive your 200hr RYT Certification, you will take need a total of 13 credits

2 Day Module (10 Hours) = 1 Credit

1 Day Module (5 Hours) = .5 Credit

Community Class = .25 Credit Each (4 Required)

You can begin at any time with any topic/module at any time.   In addition to the modules, 200hr RYT students must also complete at least 30 in person classes during the course of their training as well as observation and practice teaching.

Currently, all modules can be purchased individually.   If you've taken any of our previous modules (Myofascial Release, Yin etc) these may be applied towards your 200 hour Certification.

Sample path for 2024/2025 - 200 hour Certification:

300hr RYT Certification

To be admitted into the 300 hour program, you must first receive your 200hr RYT Certification.  Your 200hr does not have to have been completed at Explore.  To receive your 300hr RYT you will need to take a total of 20 in person credits.  You may apply previous continuing education courses at Explore to your 300 hours (ie:  Myofascial Release, Yin etc).  Any/all of the trainings listed below are eligible to count towards your certification.  We recommend taking 18-24 months to complete your 300 level training.

Additionally, our 300hr trainees will complete 30 hours of practice with lead trainer at Explore, practice teaching & class planning homework that corresponds to each module, additional reading and private & semi private feedback sessions.

Once you complete the 300 hour training, you will be able to submit your 300 hour certificate to Yoga Alliance to be recognized by them as a 500hr RYT.

This 300 hour training is paid for per module.  To get started, register for your first module and e-mail a copy of your 200hr. Certificate to:  info@exploreyogatroy.com

Additional Information

Studio will be available to trainees to use to practice teach, study or practice on their own, it’s important that students utilize this advantage.

Trainers will be available on a limited basis outside of regular training hours for 1-1/group mentoring.

Additional hours/lectures will be available online and students will be expected to complete outside of our in-studio training hours.

Continuing Education

Currently, if you’re a member of Yoga Alliance, you must complete 30 hours of continuing education every 3 years to maintain your status.  All modules are recognized by Yoga Alliance and you may use these trainings to satisfy your CEU’s.

At this time, Explore Yoga does not offer official CEU’s to satisfy other modalities (physical therapy, massage therapy etc) requirements, however, we hope you’ll consider the usefulness of the education within the scope of your own practice and join us when the topic is relevant, useful or interesting.

Yoga Students

Any student who participates in any of our modules for the sole basis of learning or deepening their practice will receive a certificate of completion for any module they attend.  If in the future they decide they’d like to take either of our Registered Yoga Teacher trainings, you may use these hours towards their future certification.
